My busy life!

Yes that’s his name. He didn’t have a name till Tuesday. Our friends Cory & Jenn just had a baby boy on Sunday early morning. I have known Cory all his life. As of a matter of fact I remember the day he was born. Now he has 2 sons of his own. I am feeling so old! Our families have been friends for 40+years. He is stationed in Turkey and unfortunately he didn’t make it in time for his birth but the grandma’s were there. We went up to see him Sunday afternoon. OMG I fell in love right away. He is such a cutie. Chayla didn’t want to put him down. I did get to hold him for a few minutes and I wish we were rich and I could have another baby. But that isn’t going to happen so I can live vicariously through others. I had to get a foot shot. He didn’t like his feet out at all. I made him cry poor guy. Can’t wait to see him grow. He has a great big brother to show him the ropes. He is only 2 but will be able to show him alot of stuff!

Connor’s school had a feast for the kindergardeners. They had a great time. I had brought the cute cupcakes to class during lunch for snacks. Then went back with Grammy for the feast. They had vegetable stone soup, pumpkin cakes, corncake muffins, cranberries & apple juice. It was cute the kids sat next to new kids that weren’t in their class. They mingled with the pilgrims & indians. Connor was an indian. He ate all his food. I felt bad none of the other neighborhood moms were there so I took photos of their kids too.

Well not sure if anyone is looking but it’s been crazy here lately. Had sinus surgery 2 weeks ago and took over a week to feel like I hadn’t been hit by a bus. Here is a link to the surgery. It was so bad they had to do the regular surgery too. Then I got a tampon stuck up my nose to stop the bleeding. So nut fun at all! But I haven’t had one of my sinus headaches since the surgery so obviously it worked! Thanks Dr. Simko!

I went to Connor’s class for his birthday and had lunch with him. I then remembered how gross cafeteria food was. No wonder he wanted me to bring Happy Meal for him. I will have to bring it next time. Then we went back to the class to take photos of the kids and hand out goodie bags. His friend Drew who rides the bus with him was also celebrating her birthday with him. I took a photo of the 2 of them. I think it is so cute. I did hear from her mom that she has a crush on Connor.

The kids had a great time Trick or Treating. Cait was a little reluctant at first but once she figured out she got candy she was ready to go. She was holding her pumpkin like a purse and didn’t let us hold it at all. We went all around the neighborhood and then off to Grandma & Cookies then Opa & Wilma and finally to Grammy & Grampy’s house. Cait and her boyfriend Justice were sharing their first stash of candy.
