My busy life!

We went to dinner on Tuesday night with Mike and Helen. Helen is Caitlin’s godmother and has known my mother since high school. They are currently on a 2 year duty of the Peace Corp in Jamaica. They have 1 year left. I will warn you that if you do go to Jamaica watch out for crabs in your toilet!!

They just happened to already have plans to be here this week so they missed Hurricane Dean. We had a great dinner at Red Lobster. There was a big crowd of us. Here are just a few of the photos. The one of me and Caitlin was taken by Connor. I think he did a pretty good job.

I am a little late posting these but here are some photos from her party. We had a great time at the pool. My nieces Carrie and Ali were here and Peg brough Carson, Cameron and Brigham. We missed Porter there but it was too hot for him to be out. Tracey O & Chris brought Gabe and Emily. Teresa & James brought Chloe and Olivia. We had chicken, potato salad, and of course cake. The kids had fun swimming. Unfortunately Chayla wasn’t there. She was missed. Gigi, Papa, Grammy & Grampy were there too. Sadly not all of our friends could make it with vacations etc..we missed you guys!

 

 

We went with the Butler’s to Busch Gardens. Kathy’s mom and dad and her niece Mari came along. Of course they had Katie with them so it was the attack of the Katie’s. My niece Carrie was with us too that day. Connor loved playing with Katie and Sean got to ride all the roller coasters that day. He had a blast. Mari was scared to death to ride Griffon but after she rode it she was ready to ride all the other rides. It was a hot day but it’s summer in Virginia what do you expect? Can’t wait to see them again next year for our annual Busch Gardens day.

Happy Birthday to my husband, partner, lover and best friend. Who would have thought 9 years ago that we would have a house of our own, a son & a daughter together. That we would be so close with Chayla. We have had so many great memories and many more to come. I love you with all my heart! Hope your next 40 years are as great as the first 40..HA!HA! 34 close enough. Hugs & Kisses Kasey
