Feeling Sad Lately

Well been a few days since I posted. Been busy got a new job doing mystery shops over the phone. Right up my alley. I didn’t know how hard it was to get certain people on the phone. I have to tape record the calls too. I hate listening to my voice. I keep saying is that really what I sound like? I thought I sounded so much different. I have also been in a funk lately. I figured out why. I am so used to going to getaway with the girl in April and I am a little depressed about not having getaway. I love spending my 4 days with the girls. We have so much fun and laugh till we cry. Or pee in our pants.(( I am not telling who did that)) I miss the drinking, sitting on the porch listening to the waves, looking for dolphins, hot tubbing and trying to get a few scrapbook pages done. Good thing is that we are going in October. Guess I need to start a countdown for it. I can make it I can make it!!

Easter Morning

April 10, 2007

The Easter Bunny came to visit and left the kids a few things in their baskets. The best was of course Happy Feet. We haven’t watched it yet. It’s on our list of things to do this week. Here are a few photos:

Easter Egg Dying

The kids had a great time dying eggs. We went to Grammy’s house after the winery and the kids got to dye them. Here are a few photos:

Winery Trip

April 9, 2007

Well in our busy weekend we got to the Williamsburg Winery. We had a great time. We all got a good buzz for a good price. I did drink the red wine even though it’s not my favorite. Even Sean drank it. I could’t believe it! I learned so much about how they make wine. Did you know those barrels can cost $700 or so each? They come from France and are oak and can only be used a few times. They said they sell them after that. I would love to have one. Not sure what I would do with it but I am sure I could come up with something. The barrels in the photo are from Sept or so of 2006. The other photo is Sean’s brother Scott being goofy!

Hockey Game

We had the family come from PA for Easter weekend and went to an admirals game on Friday night. We had a great time. The only bad thing is they were playing the baby Pens and even though we are Pens fans we couldn’t cheer for the baby ones against the hometown team. Well Scott and Bliss didn’t have a hard time cheering for them at all! My niece Carrie even cheered for the Admirals even though she is from PA.
